Become A Monitor

Professional monitoring can be a rewarding part-time career with meaningful impact — especially for retirees, graduate students, and anyone with a background in education, social services, or family support.

Successful applicants typically have experience working with children and families. Clients come from many cultural backgrounds, and monitors who speak languages other than English are particularly valued.

The role requires specific training and a background check. You must have reliable transportation, valid insurance, and a clean driving record. Monitors are expected to compose detailed, objective written reports.
